Giving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you have a wonderful day full of family, fun and giving thanks.

Today I’m reflecting on this past year and all of the little things that really are worthy of giving thanks for.

In the daily chaos of having small children, there are so many small blessings and beautiful moments and that I’m thankful for.

Here are just a few of the small blessings from this past year:

A very small yet big blessing, the birth of Weston!

Celebrating our first Christmas as a family of 4.

Using socks as gloves.

Finger painting {or ‘painting with my hands’ according to Paxton.}

Sleeping boys.

A sleeping baby on my chest.

A little boy who loves to help.

A chunky baby.

Babywearing.

A good family picture.

Brothers in matching clothes!

A little boy who loves flowers.

Bringing Weston outside for the first time to play.

A muddy toddler.

A bed ‘decorated’ by a sweet little boy.

Little boys in rompers!

A sleeping baby. {His brother brought him the babies!}

A small 2nd birthday celebration.

A membership to a children’s museum.

Paxton helping to sort the silverware.

Drums.

My first Mother’s Day as a mama of two!

Baby feet.

A little boy hard at play.

Paxton’s love for being outside and sticks.

My 3 men.

Sidewalk chalk.

Sweet toothless smiles.

A rare picture with my love.

A son who loves reading.

Rocking my sweet babe to sleep.

Finding Paxton asleep in odd positions!

A curious baby boy.

The fun that a cardboard box provides for two little ones.

Being greeted by a precious boy who loves his mama and is ready for milk!

A baby fast asleep in the highchair.

New teeth.

Watching Weston’s personality develop.

Bedtime stories.

Sleeping brothers.

Family fun days.

Adorable little boys in Halloween costumes.

These are just a few of the blessings and beautiful moments of this past year.

While Thanksgiving is a wonderful day, giving thanks should be daily.

  1. Great photos! They remind me of the sweet baby days with my two boys (now teens). It's true that the days are long and the years are short and i'm glad you are documenting all the cuteness that's happening now. There is never any such thing as too many pics.
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Kids are a really big blessing of God and I can truly understand your feeling that being a mother is to be the world best feeling. And your kids are pretty adorable and sweets. I just wanted to have assignment writing and the little one in my hands. Just like all those photographs of your kids.
