Day 25 :: Declutter Sweep

We’ve done quite a bit of decluttering this month. So far we’ve tackled the kitchen, master bedroom, closets, bathrooms, living room, kids spaces and even our cars and purses. We’ve hit about every possible room and area in our homes but I’m pretty sure there is still clutter lurking somewhere.

Day 25 Project : Do a 15 to 20 minute declutter sweep.

Set a timer for 15-20 minutes and go through areas of your home and remove things you don’t need.

I do a declutter sweep about once a month and it really helps cut down on clutter in my home.

After all of the hard work you’ve put into decluttering your home this past month, it’s important to be diligent about not letting your spaces get cluttered again.

Commit to doing declutter sweeps regularly so you don’t have to spend hours going through your home, it’s so much easier to just declutter 15 minutes here and there than spend hours decluttering!

  1. My home is pretty well decluttered, thanks to my wife's regular declutter sweep. I need to do a sweep of my 'man spaces' – the garage, etc….

    Thanks,

  2. I need to do this! I keep meaning to have a de-clutter time but never follow through. I think I'll try it today while our oldest is at KDO and the littlest one naps. I can do 20 minutes!

  3. Now that we are FINALLY starting to move into our addition little by little, I am finding things that need to move on to somewhere else; some things into the trash, some into a box for the thrift store. I'm just starting the move, so I'm hoping to find lots and lots to get rid of!
